LifeQuest Community Services

Caring Wheels Transportation to medical appointments is provided to people who are ambulatory. Three days advance notice is required, excluding Saturday and Sunday. A $10.00 donation per round trip is suggested but not mandatory. Serving west Little Rock and Maumelle.

Handy Hands Volunteers render minor home repairs for $15.00 per hour, plus the cost of needed supplies. Sorry, yard work and washing windows are not included. Serving west Little Rock and Maumelle.

Computer Comfort Technical support is provided by volunteers for $15.00 per hour. Call the office and we will connect you with help. Serving west Little Rock and Maumelle.

Meals On Wheels If you are unable to prepare your own meals, and have no one to assist you, you may have a meal delivered to your home each day. LifeQuest of Arkansas volunteers serve as drivers in cooperation with CareLink.

Parkinson's Support Group This group meets the second Tuesday of each month at Christ the King Church. These friendly Parkinsonians and their caregivers have become wonderful support for each other. Anyone dealing with this disease can join this group. Contact the office for more information.

Sjogren's Support Group This group meets the third Thursday in January, April, July, and October at Woodland Heights Retirement Center, 8700 Riley Drive. Anyone dealing with this auto-immune disease can join this group. Contact the office for more information.

Friendly Callers Anyone needing regular contact can receive a call from a friendly LifeQuest of Arkansas volunteer. No charge.

Low Vision Support This group is designed to give individuals with low vision, support and answers while dealing with their vision challenges. This group meets the first Wednesday of the month at Second Presbyterian.

We Care Volunteers send kind notes to members who are experiencing difficulties or joys. Notify the office and a card will be sent.

55 Alive Sponsored by LifeQuest of Arkansas and AARP, this classroom program is designed to help mature adults improve their driving skills. Several classes offered per year.
